Play draff online: your first game
Start playing free 10×10 draughts, practise against the computer, and meet other draff players online.
A familiar game, an online community
DraffMaster brings players together around 10×10 international draughts. Whether you know the game as draff or draughts, you can practise on your phone or computer and challenge people beyond your local board. Players from Africa and around the world are welcome. Regional draughts traditions can have different rules; this guide describes the 10×10 game offered here, not every local variant.
Start with a computer game
Choose Play against the computer below to try the board without waiting for another player. Start slowly: select your piece, look at its legal destinations, and make a move. If the board requires a capture, an ordinary move is not allowed. Read the capture guide before assuming that a piece is stuck.
Meet a real opponent
When you are ready for multiplayer, create or sign in to your account and use online play. Choose a time control you can comfortably finish. A live game needs another available player, so computer practice is a useful option while you wait. Keep your connection open and watch the game clock.
Represent your community
Set your country in your profile if you want to represent it in the community. Visit tournaments to see which events are open, what their eligibility requirements are, and when play starts. Registration and playing are separate steps: follow the event's instructions when it is time to enter the arena.
